Häufige Fragen

Wie wird gespielt?: Errate das gesuchte Wort in sechs Versuchen. Nach jedem Versuch färben sich die Buchstaben: grün = richtiger Buchstabe an der richtigen Stelle, gelb = kommt im Wort vor, aber woanders, grau = kommt nicht vor. Die Anleitung findest du in der App oben rechts über das Fragezeichen.
Mein Wort wird nicht akzeptiert, obwohl es existiert.: Die App prüft gegen eine feste Wortliste mit fünfbuchstabigen Wörtern. Fehlt ein Wort, schick es uns per E-Mail — wir nehmen es in ein Update auf.
Wofür sind die Münzen?: Für jedes gelöste Wort gibt es Münzen — je weniger Versuche, desto mehr. Damit kannst du einen Hinweis (ein aufgedeckter Buchstabe) oder einen Vorschlag (ein passendes Wort) kaufen. Münzen kosten kein Geld und lassen sich nicht kaufen; es gibt keine In-App-Käufe und keine Werbung.
Die Farben sind für mich schwer zu unterscheiden.: Schalte in der App unter Einstellungen → Hoher Kontrast auf eine Palette in Blau und Sandgelb um. Diese Farben unterscheiden sich auch in Graustufen. Die Umschaltung erfolgt automatisch, wenn du in den Systemeinstellungen „Ohne Farbe unterscheiden“ aktiviert hast.
Grün wird bei mir blau angezeigt.: Dann ist Hoher Kontrast aktiv. Du findest den Schalter in der App unter Einstellungen (Zahnrad oben rechts).
Kann ich die App mit VoiceOver spielen?: Ja. Jede Zeile wird als Ganzes vorgelesen, zum Beispiel „Versuch 1: A richtig, P falsche Position, …“. Die App unterstützt außerdem dynamische Schriftgrößen und „Bewegung reduzieren“.
Ist mein Spielstand sicher?: Spielstand, Statistik und Münzen liegen ausschließlich lokal auf deinem Gerät. Sie werden beim Löschen der App entfernt und nicht synchronisiert.

Fehlerbehebung

Die App startet nicht oder zeigt „Wortliste nicht verfügbar“

Installiere die App neu. Falls das nicht hilft, schreib uns mit Angabe von Gerät und Systemversion.

Die Tastatur reagiert nicht

Die Bildschirmtastatur der App ersetzt die Systemtastatur. Auf Mac und iPad funktioniert auch die angeschlossene Hardware-Tastatur — klicke einmal ins Fenster, damit es den Fokus hat.

Statistik zurücksetzen

Löschen und Neuinstallieren der App entfernt alle lokalen Daten, einschließlich Münzen und Statistik.

Frequently asked questions

How do I play?: Guess the hidden word in six tries. After each guess the letters are coloured: green = right letter in the right place, yellow = in the word but somewhere else, grey = not in the word. Full instructions are in the app, behind the question-mark button at the top right.
My word is rejected even though it exists.: The app checks guesses against a fixed list of five-letter words. If one is missing, send it to us by email and we will add it in an update.
What are the coins for?: Every solved word earns coins — the fewer guesses, the more you get. Spend them on a hint (one revealed letter) or a suggestion (a word that still fits). Coins cost nothing and cannot be bought: there are no in-app purchases and no advertising.
The colours are hard for me to tell apart.: Turn on Settings → High contrast in the app for a blue and sand palette whose colours also differ in greyscale. It switches on automatically if you have “Differentiate Without Color” enabled in your system accessibility settings.
Green shows up as blue for me.: That means High contrast is on. The switch is in the app under Settings (the gear icon at the top right).
Can I play with VoiceOver?: Yes. Each row is read as a unit, for example “Attempt 1: A correct, P wrong position, …”. The app also supports Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion.
Is my progress safe?: Progress, statistics and coins are stored only on your device. They are removed when the app is deleted and are never synced anywhere.

Troubleshooting

The app will not start, or says “Word list unavailable”

Reinstall the app. If that does not help, email us with your device and system version.

The keyboard does not respond

The app draws its own on-screen keyboard instead of the system one. On Mac and iPad a hardware keyboard works too — click the window once so it has focus.

Resetting statistics

Deleting and reinstalling the app removes all local data, including coins and statistics.
