Privacy Policy — Puzzle Blocks

Summary

Puzzle Blocks does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no accounts. It makes no network requests of any kind.

What the app stores

Puzzle Blocks stores the following on your device only, using the system’s standard app-preferences storage:

• the highest level you have unlocked;
• your daily-challenge streak;
• the date of your most recent daily-challenge completion.

This data never leaves your device. It is removed when you delete the app. We have no way to read it.

Network access

Puzzle Blocks makes no network requests. Every puzzle — including the daily challenge — is generated from artwork bundled inside the app, so the game works identically with the device in Airplane Mode.

Note for users of version 1.1 and earlier: those versions downloaded the daily challenge image from a third-party host (picsum.photos), which necessarily disclosed the device’s IP address to that host each time the daily challenge was played. Version 1.2 removed that request entirely. Earlier revisions of this policy did not describe that behaviour; the omission is corrected here.

Photo library access

If you choose Play with photos, the app can use a photo from your library.

• Picking a specific photo uses the system photo picker. The app receives only the image you pick, and needs no access to the rest of your library.
• Surprise me, and Next random photo on the finished-puzzle screen, select a random photo, which requires your permission to read the library. iOS asks you first, and you can decline or grant limited access.

Photos you play with are used only to build the puzzle on screen. They are never copied off the device, never uploaded, and are discarded when you leave the game.

Children

Puzzle Blocks collects no data from anyone, including children. There is no chat, no user-generated content, and no external links inside the game.

Third-party services

None. The app embeds no third-party SDKs and contacts no third-party servers.

Artwork

Puzzle images are photographs licensed under the Unsplash License and bundled with the app. See ATTRIBUTIONS.md in the project repository for credits.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be published here with an updated effective date.
